Howard Homan

Howard Homan I have donated money to help our farmers and I hope everyone who has friends and can afford to help with the legal cost will so so. The Concept of a Smelt stopping all of the farming and the mass unemployment is a joke.

Ruth Vandenack

Ruth Vandenack This is a no brainer, California needs the water. We will all pay the price if we do not water. Take it to the Surpreme Court! We have people standing in food line in the central valley here that would equal the lines of the Great Depression!

As their famous bumper sticker says..."Don't Smelt Our Economy"! Without this water flow, much of our nations fruits and vegetables won't be grown. How many of you look forward to eating these foods shipped in from other countries? We've sent our manufacturing industry overseas so we don't pollute here, will it be o...ur agriculture industry next? Will we be allowed to grow food in our own backyards? Pelosi, Feinstein, get out of the way.Read More

Rebecca Ann Hollar

Rebecca Ann Hollar I've been trying to follow and understand this strange controversy. I am either ignorant because I don't understand why California (those elected officials) would choose to cut it's (literal) bread and butter, or there is more than meets the eye here.. i.e. [politics] Thanks for trying to help sort this out for us. And I will try and place a link on my page to spread awareness.

For those of you who don't already know, Pacific Legal Foundation has been retained to help the farmers in in the valley reverse the politics that some elected officials here in california turn off the water pumps to our farmers so that they can help the Bay Area people flush the sewers that have been being dumped in the Delta. Apparently, they ... Read Morehaven't made changes either to their waterways, and don't want poop backing up in their waterfront homes on the delta, so they've gotten some politicians to make up some story about endangered animals needing the water to be flushed out to the sea. Now, I could be bastardizing and simplifying this explanation, but bottom line is the Feds have illegally turned off water to the central valley's west side and farms are literally drying up! This is going to have a disasterous effect on our state as well as the rest of the world, that the Central Valley in California helps feed. I don't understand this at all.

I'd like to know PLF's take on HR 2749 Critics say it would empower FDA to regulate how crops are raised and harvested. It puts the federal government right on the farm, dictating to our farmers.

What property rights are safe when Congress can plant federal agents while farmers can't plant crops. What's next? Feds moving into your condo so you ... Read Moredon't violate rules against flying and America flag from your balcony? Where does this invasion of our rights end?

You don’t have to be a farmer, or live in the San Joaquin Valley, to be a victim of the federal government’s fish-over-people water policies in California. Throughout Southern and Central California, people are seeing their water rates rise, and water

For what it's worth, we're networking with Central Valley patriots to bring immediate relief to the unemployed farm workers and family farmers.

Anyone reading this thread can help begin food drives in their community. This Saturday, we will publish the Needs List for those families most impacted in the farm and ranch lands of California.
