Confused... I don't know which is the web client, I like to work from the desktop application, much faster and can do many things at once. Working through the internet site seems difficult.

Darryl Lee Feature requests re: Drop Boxes. Can we 1) get a direct link (edit mode) to the newly uploaded albums when we get notifications, 2) have the subsite for the uploaded the album added to the description and included in the notification?

This would help us know what subsite somebody was looking at when they put something in our drop box, and help us get to those albums faster (one click from e-mail). Thanks!

Thanks, We made most of our albums public when you folks offered the option to use our name.phanfare.com and since that time we have had many daily anonomous visitors. I wasn't quite prepared to see the jump... We have told a lot of people and it is easier than signing up and getting their own password but I am wondering about prirating of our ... Read Morework. We have ,of course, disabled the right click option. I am just smart enough to be wary...but dumb enough to get ripped off.... should I be wary or are the images safe from piracy?

Phanfare As you probably saw from our newsletter, we new offer wall calendars. Our calendars are HP Indigo printed on card stock, 1 full-bleed photo per month plus one on the cover. The calendars allow custom holidays so that you can add birthdays and other important dates right to the calendar.

Phanfare Other features in the latest release: multiple songs per slide show, AVCHD support, new video player for all, new invitation click-through tracking, unsharp mask applied to photos upon upload, Phanfare calendars with customizable events, and last but not least keyboard navigation on the web view. Yep, I grow more delighted everyday! Couple thoughts on the video: 1) most sites incl YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and more go with the HQ version and let a viewer choose to go down - makes for a much better experience and people more likely to view on their website (which could lead to more customers for Phanfare), 2) you could put the same Low, Med... Read More, Hi boxes on the video that fade after second or so, 3) let us choose the default setting (and get blamed by our friends if the have a slow cxn and can't view it), *especially* for us Pro customers - another reason to upgrade!

Jacques Mayou Thanks Phanfare! You are the best! I did figure out how to put more than one music track with Movie Maker, but the new add your own music is easier. I was one of the customers who requested that. You people are awesome! Keep up the good work, and thanks again!

Scott Chou Is there a Sync option in the future for the Phanfare desktop client that works like Picasa? Going back and forth on updates is getting tedious.

Got it. yeah, we don't support that. We take the approach that you put things into our managed world and that keep it consistent on your devices and within our apps, some of which also create a cached local copy. Our view is that well designed consumer services hide the file system, like the iPhone or gmail.

I'm glad Phanfare doesn't force bi-directional Sync. I don't have enough space on my small laptop to store all of the photos uploaded to Phanfare. (I do keep backups on external drives, in addition to Phanfare.) So if Phanfare ever considers bi-directional Sync, I'd hope they make it optional.
