Because Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) is outspokenly Pro Choice, the Catholic bishop of Rhode Island banned him from taking the Eucharist. Let's invite Congressman Kennedy to take Holy Communion at our churches.

I am going on my 1st year of being clean from an addiction to prescription drugs. While it has been difficult the one great thing that has come out of it is the friendships I've made on boards like this. The link above is to express my gratitude to all those who have given me the motivation and desire to stand up and use my voice for what I believe in.

I wrote about (blogged about) health care, abortion, hunger & Thanksgiving:

Becka Roach Richardson With all the talk about the Stupak amendment if we are losing site on the bigger picture. PP offers comprehensive health care, birth control and educates the public on important sexual health issues. I bring this up only because I have seen so much talk lately only about this bill that it feels like other important discussions are being left out.

Amanda Fata I am disgusted at Facebook and the users. I was unable to post a link to the Stupak petition because "users" found it offensive. This is an outrage.

Planned Parenthood 54K supporters have signed the petition to pass health care reform and stop Stupak. Have your friends & family signed yet?

Wendy Chill Facebook is helping the anti-choice groups to try and silence us! This shouldn't be tolerated. What can we do?

Wendy Chill Thought you should know that I tried to post the petition using your Facebook link, but apparently it has been reported as "abusive" and it wouldn't let me do it. I was able to post the link separately, but I still think that is total crap. Don't they even review content before they prevent people from posting it? Is anyone else having this problem?

Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom (SYRF)  about to hop on a conference call to discuss plans for the Stop Stupak-Pitts Lobby Day and Rally with Choice USA, Advocates for Youth, Campus Progress, Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and many other fantastic organizations!

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood
Check out this post from our friends at Ipas. While we're advocating
for women-friendly health care reform here in the U.S., Planned
Parenthood also works for reproductive health care access in Africa,
Asia and Latin America. In some of the poorest and toughest places
where we work, women enjoy coverage that we still don't... have here in
the States. It may be apples and oranges, but still food for thought. http://www.rhrealitycheck.org/blog/2009/ 11/17/who-pays-for-these-abortionsRead More

Since last spring I’ve been talking to audiences ...

William Gilroy "During the Finance committee's consideration of the Hatch amendment, Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) warned the measure would be "a poison pill" for health care reform."
