Send a message to the White House and make your voice heard.

Jackie Gysler If u want prowomen leaders, u need to knock on doors, call, + advertise for them. u need to attend churches that r against women's rights + expose their fallacies. educate yourself in fallacious arguments, so that u can force leaders + followers to use facts rather than speculation.

Mary Ivy Knock down the Stupak amendment.

Rebecca Roach Richardson JFK said "If Not Us, Who? If Not Now, When?" Women's rights are HUMAN rights. We are all united by the bond of womanhood and our right to claim our own bodies. We ARE Sisters united, who together can stand and unite as one voice across this great land.

Kate I just became a fan of this site because I am so upset about the Stupak Amendment. How can the House of Representatives agree to with kind of discrimination? Restricting payment for abortions in a government run healthcare system is an afront to case law. This is now a legal issue and a lawsuit needs to filed to correct this wrong.

Heather Leah Kass This is one of the most single-step solutions (that YOU can be a part of) that I have seen in all my days of activism!

Jane Roberts I realize some of you may be disappointed about the Stupak Amendment, and we need to do things against it..this is a step forward for history, we can't forget that! Any bill passed in history has had negative aspects added and deleted from it. It doesn't start out 100% perfect, we do need to make som revisions (even Obama agreed) Don't lose hope

Jackie Gysler the anti-women amendment shows a need for more women to stand up for their own rights whenever challenged, including in church.

I'm sorry, but posting a note of "disappointment" on the Facebook page of Congressional members who voted for the Stupak amendment isn't exactly the type of grassroots activity Planned Parenthoood should be moving on right now. While, yes, it is good to make our voices heard, don't you think there needs to be a much l...ouder response to this? What else are we doing? Where is the outrage at Congressional Democrats who voted to support this thing? We need to start targeting them, not Republicans. Republicans are a lost cause on this thing. Democrats need the women vote to win...it's the biggest tool we have right now. Let's start using it.Read More

Kathy Russell I am furious about passage of the Stupak amendment! As has happened so much in the course of history, women are being used as bargaining chips in patriarchal politics. Disgusting

Planned Parenthood
UPDATE: Stupak/Pitts amendment adopted.
Planned Parenthood condemns this unacceptable addition to the health care reform bill that, if enacted, would result in women losing health benefits they have today. Simply put, the Stupak/Pitts amendment would restrict women's access to abortion coverage in the private health ins...urance market. The bill would also ban abortion from the new public option.
