With the New Year approaching, I always get ambitious about what I what to accomplish, these are not resolutions but concrete things I need to get done. So when I saw this article in the Wall Street Journal today about “To Do Lists” I had to share their six great suggestions.
1. Limit list to concrete tasks
2. Assign a priority to each task
3. Plan time in your schedule for each task
4. Group tasks by where they’ll be performed (office, home, while running errands)
5. List only as many items as can be realistically accomplished (in a day, week, etc)
6. Cross off or delete completed tasks
I wish you all a happy New Year and great success with your “to dos”!
