PrideOfTopGolf I am so tired! I did five laps of the field today. Richard kept talking to the other owners and kept making me walk. I just wanted to get back to my kennel and have my treat! Still another few weeks rest to go. Hopefully I will get to run in the new year.

PrideOfTopGolf My friend Richard came to see me today and told me that I am out of action for at least another three weeks. I am starting to get really fed up. At least Richard broke the news to me as I had a nice treat. We managed to dodge the rain and have a good walk around the field. No bunnies to look at and the horses didn't want to talk to me either. How rude!
PrideOfTopGolf My muscle is healing nicely thanks to daily sessions of ultrasound. If I had been fit I would have run in a race being shown on Sky Sports on Tuesday night. It's a shame as I love the sky sports girls! :-) I shall just have to wait a bit longer for my 15 minutes of fame!
PrideOfTopGolf My owner didn't come to see me as she got stuck on the M25 due to an accident. I was worried I wasn't going to get my weekly treat! Luckily Dorris's owner came to see her and he also took me for a walk and even had a treat for me. I don't think he was too keen on me jumping up at him but I was excited! Thanks for my walk and treat Dave.
PrideOfTopGolf Today my owner came to see me. I was really excited to get out my kennel. She asked me if I was really injured as I dragged her round the field but I just wanted to get back and have my treat. I had salmon, cheese and milk. Mmmmmmmmmm! I noticed my friend Richard's car was looking a little dirty so I cocked my leg... up his car. I must say I think it looks all the better for it!
PrideOfTopGolf I have some bad news. I am unable to run in the final on Friday. When the physio checked me over this morning she found that I have torn a muscle around my hip. I feel ok in myself and I'm not even limping. I will be out of action for the next three to four weeks and I shall be receiving ultrasound treatment everyday. I have a lazy few weeks ahead!
PrideOfTopGolf I finished second again! At least I am in the final on Friday! At one point I thought I was going to win. I was out in front but my kennel mate Do it Blackie just got in front of me on the last bend. Once I know what time I am racing on Friday I will let you know. I'm off to have a rest!
PrideOfTopGolf I shall be heading off to the track in a bit. I have to get there early so I can be checked by the track vet and race officials. In fact the vet wasn't very happy with me last time. Apparently I bark too much! I just want to get out on the track! Don't forget you can watch me in betting shops. My race is at 7:27p...m. Right, I'm off to warm up. Speak to you later.
PrideOfTopGolf I am running at 7:27pm on Monday at Romford in a competition for dogs who have not won an Open race. If I finish 1st or 2nd I get to run in the final next Friday. Don't fancy my chances much though as I am running from trap 6 - I don't like running by the grass
PrideOfTopGolf Had a nice visit today from my friend Richard. Not only did he bring me my usual treat of fish and cheese but he also brought me some sausages which were very tasty. He told me that I am going to be entered into a competition on Monday 16th November. Not sure of the details yet but when I do I will let you know. Unt...il then I get to have a rest. It's a dogs life!
PrideOfTopGolf I finished second. I wasn't too keen on the wet conditions, I've got sand in my fur! I was happy to get to the pick up and see my friend Sue from the kennels. I'm off to get a drink of water and catch my breath.
PrideOfTopGolf On route to Romford dog track. A few nerves but I think I'll be alright!
PrideOfTopGolf Just doing some lunges, getting warmed up ready for tomorrow night. All the other dogs have had competitive races before. Now I am getting really nervous!
