Krattenmaker notes the challenge "is to create a pluralistic environment in professional sports, where no one form of belief or non-belief takes over, but where all are... welcome, and all are free to act and speak in accordance with their creeds and beliefs..." I have no quarrel with believers praying together before and after the game to ask that no one is hurt and thanking that no one was (or to pray for those who were). Of course, such public prayer is sometimes its own reward - as the real benefit to prayer is internal.

Lorette: While I object to what CT is doing, but it's not an issue of freedom of the press or freedom of speech. That refers to government restrictions on such expressions. CT, right or wrong, has the right to remove comments from its page.

That said, I think it's very telling if they are. Suggests their agenda trumps the need for truth. Quoting Sekulow uncritically is lazy, regardless of CT's agenda.
