Chris Eirschele Salvias and sages are easy plants to grow in any type of garden as long as their cultural needs are met. The Golden Leaf cultivar is an example of a sage that has culinary and ornamental value in a garden. I found silver sage an interesting plant in my garden this year.

Salvia and sage include tough annuals, perennials and herb plants that flower in summer gardens. These plants are easy to grow, drought tolerant and attract pollinators.

Chris Eirschele Pretty Much Picasso is bound to be a big plant seller in 2010, not just of the wow color factor but for its self cleaning trailing habit. Here is an article about a variety of muticolored petunias.

Petunia flowers like Pretty Much Picasso™ and the Dolcissima series have multicolored blooms on each plant. These unique annual petunias add variety to summer gardens.
