Quinnipiac University Quinnipiac unveiled a second bronze bobcat statue, Quinnipiac’s mascot and namesake of its Division I athletic teams, Dec. 3 on Bobcat Way on the Mount Carmel Campus. The statue is identical to the one greeting visitors in front of the TD Banknorth Sports Center on York Hill. Students rub the paw of that statue to wish good luck to men’s and women’s hockey and basketball teams before home games.
