The RISD Museum of Art The move of the Sarcophagus from the Natural History Museum at Roger Williams Park has been delayed due to technical difficulties. Please don't come to the park this morning. We apologize for any inconvenience. We'll update you as to when the sarcophagus will be moved. Stay tuned.

The RISD Museum of Art This Wednesday, The RISD Museum will receive a 3rd century CE marble sarcophagus from The Museum of Natural History and Planetarium at Roger Williams Park. Join us at the park at 10 a.m. for this impressive and historic transfer! The sarcophagus will undergo conservation work before it goes on view at The RISD Museum in Fall 2010.
