Amjad Kazem ten days for RSNA. i am very excited. i am in chicago for two weeks. it is getting cold here. but still have some sun. lake michigan is great. i wish we would have good weather during the meeting.

Part 2: I am now older than they were then! I attend refresher courses to brush up, and hot topics to stay ahead. I go to the Art Institute, Charlie Trotter's, and Second City. I shop at the Magnificent Mile for something to bring home to my wife. I connect with my trusted vendors and meet new ones when I watch demonst...rations of new products. There is so much at RSNA that always pumps me up about radiology, my career and my favorite thing to do every day. The RSNA reminds me how lucky I am.Read More

I always look forward to the week after Thanksgiving, because it is RSNA week. For twenty years, I have braved the variable weather of Chicago to attend, Sometimes warm enough to ride the shuttle from the hotel in my sport coat, other times when a heavy overcoat and gloves and hat are not nearly enough. I get there in ...time to see the Sunday night film reading session, which always amazes me and impresses me, and I am so proud to be able to get a few diagnoses on my own.
I pour over the program ticking off the lectures I will attend, the posters I will read, the hands-on demos I will try to get into, and the technical exhibits I will visit. I catch up with my residency buddies, my old mentors.Read More
