Jason I would like to point out an error in the October 30th podcast. Obadiah mentioned a news article in a small town in Story County, Iowa. The correct pronunciation would be "neh-VAY-duh". I would also like to mention that after moving to Central Iowa from Central Ohio, the podcast is a godsend. I just can't bring myself to drive to work in the morning without Obadiah's sarcasm.

so speaking of buttons not to touch while on ride-alongs, i was with a friend that is a cop and the cv radio had a red button that looked so nice. small, round, glowing, beautiful. well he was on a call and i was in the car for about 10 minutes and was bored. i tried entertaining myself, but that button was looking at ...me. i stared at it, it stared back. so of course i being a good boy did inded press it. little did i know, it was a SOS call...like a officer down alarm. i freaked out and pressed it again to make it stop. it just made the call twice. a dispatcher came over the cv unit and said in an alarmed voice "officer Hill, are you ok?" he responed "yeah?" i was so embarrised. he came back into the car and was like what was that.
