Hey folks! Tim Carbone here.
I wanted to take a minute to tell you about a cool side project I've been working on called THE CONTRIBUTION. Joining me are Keith Moseley and Jason Hann from String Cheese Incident, as well as Jeff Miller and Phil Ferlino from New Monsoon.

Our debut record, “Which Way World,” will be relea...sed in early 2010.
In the meantime, I’d like to encourage you to head over to our new Facebook page and become a friend.
We have some videos and other cool stuff coming soon and we'd love to keep you up to date! http://www.facebook.com/TheContribution?ref=ts

It was at Hornings Hideout in 2005 that Jeff Miller, Phil Ferlino and I came upon the “brilliant” idea of making a record together some time in our future. It was a magical night and as the stars came out in our minds we took the first steps on the path that led to the creation of “Which Way World”. We were many days l...ost in creativity beneath the mighty redwoods and emerged into the California sunshine with ten songs sown together with the threads spun from our common love of the music and spirit of our friendship. In a twist of poetic irony we were able to secure the incredible talents of our good friends Keith Moseley and Jason Hann to be our rhythm section, the String Cheese Incident being the reason we were all at Hornings in the first place those four years ago! And here we are and soon you’ll know what we’ve found.Read More

Railroad Earth We had an absolute blast on our midwestern swing! It's always fun playing with the Great American Taxi. The Ophelia at the Barrymore in Madison with Vince on vocals and Jim Lewin on guitar was off the hook. Halloween with the Ragbirds was really fun, especially the acoustic jam out in the audience. We should do that more often! Really looking forward to heading back to the Bearsville Theater!

Not quite bluegrass, jam band or rock ‘n’ roll. Railroad Earth dips and dodges the listener’s innate desire to cloister a group’s sound within the rigid boundaries of a definable genre. ...

Awesome show at the Egg! I hope you play Revolution Hall in Troy again. It's smaller, but it's more intimate there and everyone has a great view. and you usually play 2 sets instead of 1. I enjoyed Elephant revival too!
