You haven't introduced your children to the world of Charlie Brown? Good grief!

Raleigh Little Theatre Three weeks of "Snoopy!!! The Musical" - Read Robert McDowell's Preview. From what I've seen this may be one of the best shows of the season. Definitely for youth and adult audiences. So much of the script comes directly from the comic strip. - Scotty

"Snoopy!!! The Musical" opens this week. The show is part of RLT's Youth Season. Unlike some of the children plays, this show is for kids and adults. It is full out musical comedy performed by an adult and young adult cast. Their preview performance at Barnes & Noble was wonderful. This show is sure to sell out quickly.... And as with all shows about childhood --- this one is best seen with the little ones... they "get it"! HA!! - ScottyRead More

Altar Boyz STRIKE will be this Sunday, 10/25, immediately following the final performance. We will begin around 4:30 pm and continue until we are done - which should be between 6 and 6:30pm. This will, of course, be followed by our usual STRIKE DINNER, which is a great chance to enjoy some closure to what has been yet ...another wonderful experience. • Please note that this Strike will not only involve the deconstruction of Altar Boyz, but also preparation for our imminent SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLATION. Therefore, we will also be stripping ALL the lights, emptying the necessary lofts and culling out/boxing up the goods. My concern is that we have an exceptionally SMALL CAST this time, but could use A LOT OF HANDS on deck. So if you are able and willing, please come by and lend us a hand! - Jim Zervas, RLT Technical DirectorRead More

For decades RLT had a very quaint pole sign near the main stage front entrance on Pogue Street. It was removed during the construction of the lobby (1989) and never replaced. The old sign is lost now and our goal is to get a new sign up in time for the ...beginning of the 75th Anniversary. Please considering helping ge...t this part of RLT’s history reinstated. The sign’s silhouette comes from the building’s comedy and tragedy mask sculpture. It is not a big sign nor is it flashy. The sign is something that offers a warm welcome to our volunteers and patrons. The old sign had a look and feel of the David O. Selznick Studio sign used at the beginning of “Gone with the Wind”. It has an appropriate “old time”look that reinforces our history with the community. - ScottyRead More
