I don't for one minute claim to understand high level economics. However I do understand the economy of being unemployed for an extended period of time, having to depend on unemployment insurance for rent and food. Thanks to the great senator Mitch McConnell who put partisan politics above the people of Kentucky by blocking unemployment extensions... Read More for months on end there is a class now being created that is not interested in clever slogans as much as substance. The one that will be going to Washington D.C. is the one that goes beyond the thrill reflex of their minions with claims of what, and takes on the non envious task of explaining HOW. The clever chant of "ditch Mitch" was easy enough to remember, but didn't work at the ballot box....sadly enough.

The minority leader better be very careful, he already looks like another big govt GOPer and while his fight against ObamaCare is admirable - everyone is watching and if this turns out to be another NY-23 the GOP establishment will further fall out of favor. Good riddance I say.
