Cornbread Dressing...Make ahead and then put in a slow cooker at the relatives house (their oven is always full). They actually fed us stovetop stuffing until I started bringing the dressing.

It's sinful, it is; topped with brown sugar, pecans, coconut and sweetened condensed milk - absolutely no calories whatsoever...LOL!

Deb, you could serve just about anything cooked in brown sugag, pecans, coconut and sweetened condensed milk and people would eat it! Even sweet potatoes!

Stuffing in the turkey. White bread, onion, seasonings ... simple but tasty. It is also a fifth generation family tradition, so we mustn't change. When in-laws visit, we do cornbread dressing on the side. They eat theirs, we eat ours. Everyone is happy.

Thanks to all of you...who put your recipe number next to the name of the recipe! It makes it so much easier! I just looked up Cheesey Hash Brown Potato Bake...it took me to look up over 16,000 recipes and after 20 pages of looking, I ended up with some other recipes! It just makes it so much easier, then spending the entire day, Thanks!

I tried this last night. It made me realize that potatoes really have no flavor, and pureed cauliflower is just as good. Oh yeah, I did puree the cauliflower as other people suggested. Also used fresh steamed cauliflower-not frozen. I'm sure frozen would be fine though :-)
