American Red Cross Bay Area The American Red Cross is teaming up with the Oakland Raiders to host a kickoff party in anticipation of the December 13 Raiders game against the Washington Redskins.

Come join us for drinks, Monday night football, and an appearance by Football's Fabulous Females - the Raiderettes.

The Monday night football game will f...eature the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens.

Tickets for the kickoff party will be $10 at the door. Your $10 donation will include a drink ticket and appetizers. All proceeds will benefit readiness and relief programs for the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter.

American Red Cross Bay Area The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter will be honoring local community members at its annual Heroes award breakfast in Contra Costa County. Among those being honored is Contra Costa County native Captain Chesley Sullenberger, who bravely landed U.S. Airways flight 1549 in the Hudson River in New York. The program is... designed to celebrate the community’s everyday heroes, recognizing those individuals and organizations that make a difference in their community through acts of extraordinary kindness and courage. The heroes will be honored at the Contra Costa County Heroes Breakfast on Tuesday, November 3 at Crow Canyon Country Club. Please join in and give our local heroes the recognition they deserve.
