The last batch was a 1/2 ton of Grenache from Russian River - 100% whole cluster. It looks like we just might have everything in barrel for Thanksgiving!

Relic Wines A lot of fun had last night before late night Punchdowns thanks to Peter, Linda, Phil and Carrie: '74 Chappellet, '86 Stag's Leap Cask 23, '86 Etude Pinot, '99 Marcassin Pinot, '06 SQN Hoodoo Man, '96 J. Lassalle Angeline....all of which just reminds us why we work so hard this time of the year!!!! Thanks guys!

Well....not officially PH. The nearest vineyard to the north is Versant, but it sits well above Showket. A well-known name but I am not supposto reveal the source.

I don't want to jinx things here....but the vintage so far is going fantastically well! No crazy heat yet, just nice warm days and plenty of hang time. Sugars are just creeping, and that's the way we want them!
