Rep. Harry Mitchell At a time when states are struggling with budget cuts, it is important to make sure firefighters have the tools and resources needed to keep our communities safe.

Arizona’s fire departments could receive millions of dollars in funding to help retain personnel and equipment in the face of budget cutbacks if a bill sponsored by Rep. Harry Mitchell, D-Ariz., passes the Senate.

Andy, the correct question is... why does harry and the federal government steal money from our state, then want us to bow down and be grateful when he lets us have some of it back on thier terms.

Constitution Article I, Section 8.

the States can take care of ourselves, we don't need a middleman taking a cut and dictating where to apply our resources.... See More

i don't care if Harry moves to the right, or his downward spiral to the left and fascism, his fate is sealed. he has advocated enslaving and imprisoning his fellow citizens who do not live thier lives and protect thier finances and health as he commands.

Rep. Harry Mitchell I am proud to cosponsor H.R. 3943, the bipartisan Post 9/11 Troops to Teachers Enhancement Act, to help more troops transitioning to civilian life become teachers. As a former teacher, I know how important it is to have well-trained instructors in the classrooms, as well as help veterans in the transition back to civilian life.

That makes no sense. Stop trying to make something out of nothing it shows ignorance and does nothing for your argument. “Treat others as you want them to treat you because what goes around comes around”

Andrew, I will argue with Obama on anything that I believe he is wrong on. Unfortunately, he is a statist, so that means I disagree with him on pretty much everything. When he initially talked about sending more troops to Afghanistan during the campaign, I agreed with him on that.

I am not going to get off the back of a man who is payed with my ... See Moretax dollers when he screws up, and he is screwing up big time in Afghanistan, and in his job as a whole. I criticized Bush too on a lot of his handling of both Iraq and Afghanistan, so quit trying to play the "but, but, but BUSH!" game, it is infantile. Find a better hobby.

His indecision is getting people killed. I still have plenty of freinds in the Corps who are going back over there, and it scares me that a man who has never been in charge of anything in his life is their CiC.
