Ripon, Wisconsin Due to a conflict with the revised time of the Packer-Vikings game, Ripon's Citywide Trick or Treating has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 31 from 3 to 5 pm. There will be no Trick or Treating on Sunday, November 1. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Why wouldn't Ripoin have trick or treating on Saturday anyway? Plus, to reschedule any events due to a football game....it's a game people. Life does not revolve around the Packers.

Ripon, Wisconsin Restoration In Progress...
The restoration of 319 Watson Street in downtown Ripon is well underway. The old facade has been removed and redesigned to look similar to its original appearance. Tiny Terror on the Square is a fun way to celebrate Halloween with your little ones. Registration per child is $5 prior to October 9 and $10 after October 9. All participants will receive a pumpkin to decorate, a bag for downtown trick-or-treat, tickets for carnival games and a Tiny Terror t-shirt. Other activities ...include a Costume Parade at 6 p.m., K-9 demonstration and a Fire Truck/EMT Exhibit. Registration forms can be found at www.ripon-wi.com.

Ripon, Wisconsin Sweet Treatz, Ripon’s newest coffee shop which is located at 314 Watson Street, will celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, September 12th. Sweet Treatz produces quality gourmet coffee, espresso and iced blended coffee drinks. They also create delicious dessert items such as homemade cheese cake, cannoli, muffins, scones, and other specialties. Sweet Treatz is open daily from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Congratulations to Advanced Paper Enterprises (APE) regarding their expansion project located at 877 Stanton Street. APE, a paper converting business started by Tom and T.J. Rogers in 2006, began as a small two-person operation in a warehouse that was formerly used by Smucker's.

Since that time, APE has added new equipment, hired new employees, ... Read Moreand relocated onto a 60,000 square foot warehouse recently constructed in Ripon's business park. APE currently employ over 34 people, and plan to add more jobs in the coming months. All of their expansion activity took place during the recession!!
