ABOUT THE SHOW
In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl met a big city rocker— and in LA’s most famous dive bar, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the ‘80s. It’s ROCK OF AGES, a hair-band love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Poison and many more. Don’t miss this awesomely good time about dreaming big, playing loud and partying on.

“Absurdly enjoyable! About as guilty as pleasures get! The siren call of those guitars and singalong choruses is impossible to resist.” -Charles Isherwood, The New York Times

“The real deal! A cranked-up crowd-pleaser!” -Joe Dziemianowicz, Daily News

“Rock on if you dare!” -David Richardson, WOR Radio

“Rock solid! A sexy, feel-good romp!” -Roma Torre, NY1

"A Must See! Pure Broadway Gold." - Ellen Carpenter, Spin Magazine

“More fun than it has any right to be.” -Thom Geier, Entertainment Weekly

Parental Advisory
Rock of Ages is a full-out, blast-off, hold-onto-your-hairspray celebration of the great rock music of the 80s, and you might be wondering - or, admit it, hoping - your kids will love it as much as you will. Well, we think they will, but you should know that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14. We think teenagers will dig it, because it’s totally awesome, sort of like a music video brought to life, complete with hot dancers and blazing guitar licks. You know the maturity of your children, so we suggest you use your best judgment about whether or not the show is appropriate for them. Remember, if you do bring them, they’ll get to see you rockin’ like you did back in the day. Just so you know.

Steve Smith, did you watch "Heroes" on CNN. Why not go out in the wide world and help people. Why spend so much time posting negative comments and bringing people down? Life is short, make your life count from now on by helping out charities instead of pitying yourself.

I saw Rock of Ages last Saturday. It was my first time in NYC. I've seen Cats, Phantom, Annie, and a few other broadway performances. This hands dow is the best show I've ever seen.

The cast does a tremendous job working the crowd! It was easy to get sucked into the show. The band is incredible. I would recommend this show to anyone who wants to laugh, feel good, and ROCK!

I was fortunate enough to meet Constantine after the show. He was incredible nice considering being exhausted from the show.

If you have an opportunity to see this show, DO IT!

WTG Rock of Ages cast! Way to keep the audience rocking out!

I'll be honest, I only went to see this show because I wanted to get out the rain and thought it would be a good idea to use this excuse to go see a show.
Its been 3 weeks since I saw ROA and I cant stop thinking that I want to go back and see it again! Completely blew me away! I want fly back to NY to go see it again very soon!
Loved the script, the songs and the characters! I was laughing and dancing in my seat just about all the way through!
I would recommend this show to anyone and have already told all my friends about it! TAKE ME BACK THERE!

Steve you are obviously way more sophisticated than us being British and all. Must be all that great English comedy you grew up on.

Don't listen to Steve Smith. He is obviously a sad little man who doesn't know how to enjoy himself. Rock Of Ages is entertainment in the true sense of the word. It is simply good, honest fun that is lost on the try-hard intellectual set that need to dissect and critique everything. For a terriffic night out, look no further. The music rocks and the performances are done with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Just a quick piece of advice to anyone tempted to go to see 'Rock of Ages' - don't !

I returned from a trip to New York with my wife about three weeks ago. One of the items on our 'to do' list was a Broadway show - though we were not too bothered which one. We queued at the Times Square ticket booth to see if any bargains were available and ended up buying second-row tickets for Rock of Ages as all the more familiar shows seemed to be sold-out. This show is based on 1980s American rock music (Journey, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, etc) which we like so it seemed a safe bet. What a mistake !

The excuse for a script appears to be loosely based on Journey's Don't Stop Believin' (one of my favourite tracks of the 80s !) but I imagine it took less time to write the script than it does to listen to the song.

If I had paid to watch this at a local amateur dramatic group or a high school production I would have asked for my money back. The singing and acting were seriously dire. The 'comedy' revolved around one chap who appeared to have seen too many Jack Black films, and spent the evening overacting, pulling silly faces and generally being annoying. Not many people laughed, but the guy behind me kept shouting 'YEAH !' so I suppose some found it funny.

The expectation seemed to be that the crowd would join in and 'rock on', and imitation cigarette lighters were handed out for us to wave. Looking round the audience there weren't many lighters being waved, but plenty of bemused faces - presumably people who were working out just how much money they had wasted on this rubbish !

I know it's not supposed to be serious, I like the absurd, I like silly and I like power ballads - but this was just pathetic.

If this is the best Broadway has to offer - you can keep it !

Saw the show 5 times and sat next to a guy that saw it 10. I could watch it every day. The singing and acting is beyond words. The whole cast just flows together. LOVE, LOVE,LOVE it. What a voice Constantine has...and so cute too.
