Rosie the Riveter: Rosie's Bandana Ann contacted me via Twitter to see if I wanted to cover her book for Women's Memoirs. While the book looks interesting, it's not right for Women's Memoirs. Then I thought of our Rosie's Bandana gang. So I'm sharing this information with all of you. -Kendra

Rosie the Riveter: Rosie's Bandana
This photo just in from Marcia Breece--owner of Morgan Hill Retreat B&B and llama ranch in Poulsbo, WA, and author of newly published memoir, "Finding This Place: One Woman's Journey Beyond Restriction." Marcia and friends Jean (left) and Sandy (right) recently took a photography vacation. They took Rosie the Riveter's... Legacy bandanas along with them. Here's the first shot of the three of them a Kalaoch Lodge along the Washington Coast.
Well, this photo suggests the versatility of Rosie's Bandana. Now we're hoping for a shot of the women "Doing the Rosie." Enjoy. - Kendra

I want to give you a link to one of the most interesting YouTube videos about Rosie the Riveter. This is not just another collection of film clips about women in factories during WWII. This is primarily about the history of the icon of Rosie that we all love. The narrator also talks about the famous Norman Rockwell Ros...ie the Riveter that was on the cover of Saturday Evening Post in 1943. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04VNBM1Pq R8
