SBNR.org Dare to be surprised by life and give thanks. May gratitude upend you like unexpected buds in winter. Stand before the day with your arms outstretched, take a deep bow and say, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

SBNR.org A Thanksgiving Grace ~ My plate, now empty, will soon be filled with precious food. In this food, I see the presence of the entire universe supporting my existence. Many beings are struggling for food today. I pray that they all may have enough to eat. - Thich Nhat Hanh

A great prayer to be followed up with a gift to an international organization that helps feeds those in need, and the local food shelf.

SBNR.org "Let everything happen to you, beauty and terror, no feeling is final." Rainier Maria Rilke ~ This seems like a great holiday reminder. The holidays are the best and worst times for many. Let it all happen. No feeling is final.

I already felt that once. I enjoyed being with my family so much this weekend, but one of the younger ones insulted me online after the weekend, after I spent money and time with her. It hurt, but my prayer is that understanding will come from the experience.

SBNR.org "We live in a universe that regards us with benign indifference." Albert Camus ~ What do you think? Do you think the universe has a plan or a preference for how life unfolds?

We are just revolving and evolving. Does our life favor the universe. I think we are insignificant in the scheme of things.

Camus is correct about the universe (although "the universe",being impersonal, doesn't regard anything.)
God, however, is different.

I've seen this before. I may not be a big fan of Obama, but anyone wishing death on him is insane. These people are using their god to justify these "rightful murderous thoughts." Hmmm, doesn't that sound familiar? The crusades, anyone?

Crusades, hm. Fear and death in opposition to tolerance and nonviolence. Same as now.

The same author who brought attention to that Psalm and its use said, pray (in a positive way) for our President. An affirmative prayer of protection would be good. After becoming aware there's a problem, affirmative prayer releases us from focusing on the negative. Such prayer makes you "stronger than you seem", as well.

Beautiful, Meg. Those years just go too quickly, don't they? I'd love to hold my children on my lap again. It's a good thing grandchildren come along.

It's a very weird religion, full of inconsistencies, untruths and cover ups. All these movements to get to the root, the Truth and have we come any closer?

Anton Elohan Byers

Anton Elohan Byers I humbly submit here the release today of my new book, Finding Fulfillment with Intuisdom, a book that should speak directly to the SBNR community. Intuisdom observes that nothing complex and external is necessary to uncover the natural self and the personal and spiritual potential that lives inside it. This simple bo...ok attempts to move as directly toward truth as language will permit.
Please visit our Web site for information on Intuisdom, the book and our NEW BLOG: www.intuisdom.com. (See link below.)

And thanks to Ian for his work!

Peace and love,

Anton Elohan
