Hi Daisy,
It is always best to check directly with the embassies about visas as requirements change so regularly. Where you can, organise visas prior to arrival as saves time spent on borders etc!
Have fun,

Hi Caitlin,
The best ticket for you allows one stop on the way to Australia and one stop on the way back from Australia in most major Asian cities (Tokyo, Beijing, Bangkok, Singapore etc).
Give me a call and we can look into this a bit further for you.
Kind regards,
Nicila

Hi Emma,
There is so much to see and do in Australia that I'm not sure where to start either! I think the first thing is to decide whether you wish to travel around Australia or remain in one place to chill or work etc... If you plan to travel then decide where you want to go and how you wish to travel.
The East Coast of Australia is a good start as there are plenty of travel options as well as loads to see and do. If you want to see it in your own time then you can hire a car, get a rail pass or a hop-on hop-off bus pass. If you want to meet people and have the comfort of everything sorted out for you then there are plenty of excellent tour operators that run 2-week trips between Sydney and Cairns. We have quite a lot of offers on at the moment to Oz so check out are dedicated section on our website for further info.

Hi Hayley,
We have a range of multi-stop tickets which can incorporate all those destinations. Prices vary depending on when you leave the UK. The best thing to do is speak to a consultant at your local STA branch. All our branches are listed here

Kia Ora Lizi!
Generally the hop-on hop-off bus passes do make a concerted effort to get off the beaten track. It is not just A to B. You also get the added benefit of meeting like-minded travellers, activities and accommodation organised for you and not worrying about getting lost! Hiring a campervan is also an excellent option with flexibility being the main selling point. You can explore NZ for yourselves, stop (and sleep) where you want and hit the road again at any time of day you choose.
At the moment we do have 25% off national bus passes in NZ. Click on the link below for more info..

Hi Milly,
For your first plan one of our exclusive STA Blue tickets will be your best option - these are a number of cheap student/youth point to point tickets that you put together to give you one big ticket. This will take you to all the places you want to go - it also give you the most flexibility. As for adding in Australia, NZ and USA your best bet will be to buy a round the world ticket. This will not actually add much on to the original price. Its hard to give a certain price without knowing your dates and your flexibility of dates etc so please give me a call at the STA Covent Garden branch on 0871 468 0612 or email me - dylan.clements@statravel.co.uk.
Thanks!

Hi Celeste,
Hopefully you saw our reply to your earlier post below. Probably the cheapest ticket is to go to Australia and/or New Zealand via Asia. Singapore, Bangkok etc.
Contact one of our consultants and they will really be able to get you started on your quest.
Thanks.
