SORRY, THIS IS A DUPLICATE - PLEASE SEE THE ORIGINAL EVENT PAGE: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=22 3562787655&ref=ts
Samsara come to London for an intimate show at the Troubadour, to celebrate the launch of our new album "The Great Unravelling". With some brand spanking new tunes appearing alongside a selection of... tracks from our album and some other surprises, we'll be bringing a big knees-up skank session for all the London heads. Plus, there's a whole host of other acts who sound pretty cool - here's what the troubadour says about them:
HAUNTED STEREO-www.myspace.com/hauntedstereomusi c
The band plays over 15 instruments between them. Creating intricate layers of sound with an array of melodic instruments – including banjo, mandolin, accordion, piano, violin, recorder, electric guitar, melodica and percussion - , Haunted Stereo are very much about the thrills and fun that is to be had from playing live music together.
THE ELIZANS-www.theelizans.co.uk
They are back on the live scene after almost a year in the studio recording their debut album! The first single is due to be released in February 2010 will national radio airplay already lined up. The music of The Elizans is a genre in itself! This band draw influences from many styles and periods of 20th century popular music bringing their eclectic and diverse taste together to form one very original and complete sound. Expect high energy, beautiful harmonies and more hooks than a pub covers band!"
ALLMAN BROWN-www.myspace.com/richardallmanbrown
With the combination of dusty Kerauac esque lyrics and pop sensibility, Allman Brown's grasp over melody and mood is something to be admired. With a background in film and having only recently been recorded by little know indie Bakermoon Records, the listener is given a wonderfully fresh, yet honest, listening experience. This is delivered by what must be the most confidently beautiful voice to grace a recording for a number of years.
ANDROID ANGEL-www.myspace.com/theandroidangel
Hope to see you there!!!
