Jon I used to go to Sanibel every year with my folks. We went 10-12 years straight. They were always great vacations with my family. I hope to start the tradition at some point with my own kids. Beautiful area.

Sanibel-Captiva Islands It's raining this morning, which means it's a great Friday to holiday shop our many cool retailers. But the forecast says it's gonna clear around 5 pm — perfect timing for Luminary Night and our famous free trolley rides and Santa sightings. And Saturday, the holiday classic "Nutcracker Suites" can be enjoyed at Big Ar...ts (4 pm and 7 pm, kids free at matinee), featuring a goodly amount of Sanibel and Captiva children performing!
