A comment about parking - the bad days are gone... except late at nights - the meter "changes" are great for customers! More parking!

One block from Blue Line - Damen Stop
Take Red Line to North Ave then 72 Bus west to Milwaukee/Damen/North

If attending an evening event - ANY restaurant valet will park you - AND you should try those restaurants anyway - there are tons of great ones!

Blue line is closed on weekends through the end of the year - there is a replacement bus - plan accordingly.

Cabs approximate $15 from downtown or from Lakeview. Lots of cab availability.

While we are a "bricks and mortar" gallery located in Chicago, we don't mind the infrequent postings of other people's works that are offered for sale.

We do ask however, that you recognize that considerable effort has gone into gaining the recognition of our fans, and to not take advantage of it - or Gary will use his power of the delete key.

While we will endorse certain products that we have personally reviewed, we will not make comment on sites of others' bodies of work offered for sale

We will comment however, though not all the time (since we have a business to run as well) on Fans postings of their individual pieces of work.

Note that any opinions we do have, are our own and recommend strongly that you form your own opinion as well as inspection of any body of work, ours or other peoples that you may have an interest in.

IE - be cool, and we will too. Take advantage - bye bye.

NEW NOTE - 10/25/2009 - If you have a question about a particular artwork - please, if you would email me either here on facebook or via sapere@sapereart.com with that question - Photo Comments on a Page do not get "notifiers" - so I don't know that they are there...unless I manually go to read them, and they "aren't" in date order...i have to go photo by photo...TYVM!

New Note - Nov 23, 2009... I'm a good guy and don't mind posting of your art, but please... pick your top 2-3 and state why you are posting it - to share, or to get feedback.. pls don't "hog the wall".. hehe its "mine". Those of you with private profiles, you won't get comments from me, or mail from others - so check out your privacy settings. If you are posting for me to "know about you" as a potential addition to the gallery - I don't pick up those hints well and ask that you go through the process as noted on the regular website.

New Note - if someone has already posted that day - be kind and wait a few hours... or the next day, or hold yourself back and only post one for now ;-)
