Sarasota Memorial Health Care System Free H1N1 flu vaccinations will be given to people who are at risk under the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by Sarasota County Health Dept. Bowls of Hope, benefiting All Faiths Food Bank, was held Sunday, Nov. 8 at Phillippi Estate Park. 25 Sarasota Memorial Corporate Volunteers helped throughout the day.
At the annual soup tasting event, guests select a hand-crafted bowl and sample some of the 40 plus soups donated by local restaurants and organizations, including SMH’s ever popular “Kickin’ Crab Chowder.”
