Hi Carolina, if you are looking for positions in your local branch, such as a Teller/Customer Services position, your best bet is to drop off your resume and cover letter at the branch directly, as most of those positions are not posted on our website. You can search for openings in Canada by going to the following link:

Hi Scotia Vibe,
I am interested in working in Latin America for Scotiabank. I have Business Degree (Marketing) and I am also fluent in spanish. Also, have work experience in Latin America. Any advice you can provided is greatly appreciated.
Scotia Vibe at 8:41am June 29
Dennis, thank you for your interest in working for Scotiabank.
The recruitment process in Latin America is different for each country. Some countries post jobs directly on their websites, while others post them on job boards. El Salvador in specific does not post openings on its website, thus your best bet may be looking on online job boards.
Sorry that I cannot be of any more help.

I was referred to your company by a friend who currently works in Scotia's IT dept in the Scarb office, I'm looking to further gain more hands on working experience. Pritesh
Hello ScotiaBank Staff,
I'm looking for an co-op or unpaid internship at any ScotiaBank and I'm currently enrolled in at York University in Accounting. I heard of this program through my sister who completed her COOP placement at the Downtown Scotia Plaza as a Data Entry Clerk. It would be great if any members at ScotiaBank can refer me to their manager for a coop position as I'm currently looking for gaining a real world experience. If you need me to forward my resume, I would do that upon your request! Thank you. Pritesh Patel
Scotia Vibe at 7:11am June 1
Hi Pritesh, The best place for you to start is visiting your school's career centre. Any current vacancies for co-op positions would be advertised there.

Hi Jose. We are based in Canada, so unfortunately cannot be of great assistance to you. However, we are trying to figure out who to redirect you to in Mexico City. We'll likely send you a private message with the information...so stay tuned for that.

Christopher Fink That is info I needed to know, NOW I know why they had Job info at the branch

Scotia Vibe Hi Farrukh - our campus hiring gears up again in the Fall, but in terms of immediate vacancies, it's best to visit your local Scotiabank branch, as all hiring for our Customer Reps are done locally by each branch. Good luck!

Scotia Vibe Hi Ghazal - thanks for letting us know. There are jobs posted on our website, so it could be a technical issue that's not letting you view them. You can call our Career Centre Help Desk at 1-877-560-4084. Let us know if they help you find a solution.

Farrukh M hey, is there any job opportunity in scotia bank for business admin student right at this moment or entry level as a bank teller?

Ghazal Hey! I am facing a similar problem as Atif does- nothing comes up while searching for a job, and it has been this way for quite a while! Is it just a technical issue?

Scotia Vibe
Hi Abhijeet - you can find all the information you will need to know about our new Grad programs with Scotia Capital at http://www.scotiacapital-careers.com/

Scotia Vibe Hi Amanda, The postings on our careers website are Canada specific. However, if you let us know which country you are located in, we can advise you on the best way to go about finding out about local opportunities.

Abhijeet Patra Hi there, I am completing my MBA ( finance major) and have done my CSC as well. I want to work with scotia in the investment banking side. where do I need to apply. do you also have programs for new Grads?

Amanda Velazquez
I feel the Scotiabank Vibe!!
Congrads on the iniciative! Is this also to include international job postings and foreigners interested in working in Headquarters?

Scotia Vibe Hi Atif, What search criteria are you using? We do have a number of jobs posted right now. You might want to open your search criteria more broadly. Try that out and let us know if you still have difficulty seeing the postings.

Atif Rashid I have been checking scotiabank.com/careers website regularly for last 4 months and not a single job has been posted. I assume they put a hiring freeze due to downturn in the economy.

Scotia Vibe Hi Matt, For Scotia Capital jobs, you can send your your resume and cover letter to capital_careers@scotiacapital.com. While they do follow a structured recruitment cycle, it's worth highlighting your situation in your email. For all other Scotiabank positions, we do hire throughout the year. I would recommend that you visit our careers website again closer to the date you would be looking to start and apply.

Matt Brennan
Hi there... I'll be completing my MBA (general) in June from ACU National in Australia, and at that point heading back to Canada.. I'm interested in careers with Scotiabank or capital, but I'm not too sure what's available out there.. I've checked out the careers site, but it seems hiring only happens at certain times of the year. I'll be looking to start employment from the beginning of August. Can you send me in any direction at all?? Thanks!
Matt

Hi Lilian,
While we don't have a formal summer student program; there are a couple of ways you can go about finding a summer position. You can either check back on our website or you can visit your local branch and see if they are hiring for the summer.
Best of luck as you finish up this term!
