Sea Turtle Preservation Society With those cold fronts (finally) starting to come in, keep your eyes peeled for hatchlings that may have been pushed back on shore because of strong winds from the east. If you find one, call STPS, and we will get you the help that the little one needs!

The purpose of our organization is to educate the public about marine turtles. STPS reaches thousands of people each year through public presentations, exhibits at area events, and by our turtle watches during the sea turtle nesting season.

Sea Turtle Preservation Society As July comes to an end, STPS wants to thank you all for your support during our nesting walk season. Even though our public walks are over, turtles are still out there! Remember to keep the beaches dark, and watch out for hatchlings!
Sea Turtle Preservation Society reminds everyone, again, that if you dig a hole on the beach, please fill it in when you are done! It can be a sad situation not only for hatchlings, but also nesting females. Recently a nesting sea turtle in south Florida became stuck in 4 x 4 foot hole
