I tag and collect shark D.N.A. occasionally. I am self funded so activity has been limited the past 2 years. I have 32 years shark experience and wish I could use it daily. I have a landscape business on Longboat and Anna Maria Florida area.

Please vote to help Ben Horton save sharks in Costa Rica! Ben is up against a guy who is trying to save elephants which is also an admirable cause, but if we can help by voting for him, it will bring more attention to the sharks that need help so badly!. You can vote everyday and each vote enters you in a chance to wi...n a Mediterranean cruise!! You do have to input your name and e-mail address—a small price to pay to help save the sharks we love. Here is the note from his mom:

Ben has been working for some time on the shark finning issue. His latest goal that is the subject of this grant has to do with a marine area off the coast of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. It's crucial to the shark population there. Ben's been working with local marine biologists and UN representative, but this grant would go a long way to making this a reality.
Here's the website - don't forget you can vote everyday until Nov. 19th!
