Shelby Farms Park We're accepting donations of old bikes and/or bike parts at the Visitor Center. Go through your garage and pull out that lonley bike you aren't using! We're teaming up with Revolutions Community Bicycle Shop to recycle and rehibilitate bikes for Memphis kids this holiday season.

Melissa Fuller-Killgore I was thinking it would be nice to have some type of agility course at the dog park. Even with my dog being 50 lbs he can't do much with the horse stuff. Is there one that I may be missing?

I don't think we have one, but what an interesting idea! You should get in contact with the Shelby Farms Off Leash Society. Their e-mail address is info@shelbyfarmsoffleash.org. They know anything and everything when it comes to dogs in the Park, and they also work to make the Park better for dog lovers.

Hey Kristy, you've read our minds! We're currently working on the project and it should be in full swing next year. People will be able to make contributions to the project by donating money, time, or trees. A variety of native species will be planted. We're working with specialists to determine where and how to plant them. It's an exciting time for the Park!

Shelby Farms Park Have an old, used bicycle taking up space in your garage? Shelby Farms Park is teaming up with Revolutions Community Bicycle Shop to rehabilitate and recycle bicycles for Memphis kids this holiday season. You can drop off your bike at the bike rack in front of the Visitor Center or stop by Revolutions during the following hours: Sunday 2-5pm, Monday 6:30-8:30pm, and Thursday 6:30-8:30pm.

So can we drop off the bikes @ Shelby Farms bike rack anytime? Or is it these same hours? I have a 18 speed Huffy that should be in fair shape still sitting at my parents I would like to donate.
