i would like to say a huge thank you to Shelter. A few years ago my little girl and i found ourselves homeless and didn't know how we were going to cope and what to do but a fantastic woman from Shelter in Wales helped us with legal advice and support.
Without the support from Shelter we wouldn't have been settled in our home for the past 3 years so THANK YOU SHELTER!

In May this year we came back home to our bungalow on fire. It completely messed up our kitchen, living room, and also caused some damage to our bedroom and hallway.
Now in October still nothing has been done....we have no electricity in the kitchen or living room and with so much damage we cannot use them rooms.
We cann...ot cook, washing our clothes or anything. We live in our bedroom ...eat and sleep there. We are depressed and because we are disabled living in these conditions makes life even worse. We did try a hotel but we couldnt manage as my husband has to hoisted everywhere and thre wasnt much room plus we had to kep comingback to the bungalow for my husband to have a bath as the bathroom wasnt big enough at the hotel. How can people get away with treating us like this?Read More

Hi,...I live in Reading with my husband and my daughter.My husband and I are disabled...my husband is in a wheelchair thanks to Friedreich's Ataxia. We have a bungalow provided by Catalyst. Earlier this year they decided to change the rules about certain jobs saying the tenant has to do them...but this is inpossible fo...r disabled people as we have to call people out and it costs a fortune...also we live on flood plains which causes a nightmare for our social workers....Read More
