Mary
MY DAUGHTER A FEW YEARS AGO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A NEAR FATAL REACTION TO A MEDICATION THAT WAS PRISCRIBED TO HER. HER REACTION WAS CLOSE TO THIRD DEGREE BURNS THAT AFFECTED HER MUCOUS MEMBRANES AS WELL AS HER SKIN. MY DAUGHTER WAS TAKEN CARE OF FROM THE MOMENT SHE ARRIVED BY HER DOCTOR
WHO WATCHED OVER HER VERY CLOSELY.... THE NURSING CARE WAS A+++.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE AT HER SIDE 24/7. THEY ALLOWED US TO STAY IN AN APARTMENT IN THE HOSPITAL. OUR FOOD WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THE NURSING CARE WAS A+++. WE WERE ALLOWED A COT AND WE TRADED PLACES WITH EACH OTHER TO WATCH HER AND HELP HER. WHEN YOU GO THROUGH SOMETHING LIKE THIS AS A PARENT IT IS UNIMAGINABLE. HOW DO YOU SAY THANK YOU TO SUCH A WONDERFUL ORGANAZATION THAT SAVED YOUR CHILD'S LIFE? WHAT A WONDERFUL WONDERFUL PLACE SHRINERS BOSTON IS. THANK YOU TO THE SHRINERS THAT DO AMAZING THINGS FOR PEOPLE EVERYWHERE AROUND THE WORLD.

Samantha Richmond Thank you shriners for all you have done for me, I had scoliosis when i was 14 and would not be here today if it werent for you all. Shriners doesnt get enough credit, they save lives..shriners hospital, Lexington, Kentucky

Rebecca Jean Parrish-Cox My grandson, Gabe, has a very serious genetic condition which is severely impacting his life. He just turned 2 yesterday. He cannot sit up by himself or crawl, much less walk. The specific diagnosis hes been given is CFC syndrome with a missing BRAF 7. Hope this makes sense because I am just repeating what the dr. h...as said. At this point he looks pretty normal and responds to people laughing, talking and playing with him, He has a bad curvature of the spine, scoliosis. We were told that he is the only child known that they are aware of with the Braf 7 missing. Would he be eligible for an assessment and treatment by the Shriners?
