Blues, rock, punk, and folk are about to be joined by a new genre: handmade. On November 6, Blair Elliot of Doylestown's Siren Records proudly introduces My My - handmade + totally awesome. An exhibition of craf...ters and artists from all over the world, My My will be right at home inside Bucks County's premier record store.

Formed in 2004, My My was created by Taryn Hipp as a place to feature her own handiwork. By 2009, My My became too awesome for one girl to handle, so she teamed up with fellow artist and longtime friend Maureen Ferguson. Together, they bring you the most amazing baubles, bangles, and geegaws made by the most amazing new artists.

What happens when two MIT graduates get together to design jewelry? The exciting work by Nervous System, which is as much a science exhibit as a piece of art. Limited edition wallets and stationery, provided by urban artist collective Poketo, are next to sophisticated clothing handsewn in an updated Victorian milieu. Those stylish bicycle T-shirts and totes are screen-printed by B Minus Designs, who donate 100% of the proceeds to local bicycle-related nonprofit organizations. Each item found in My My exemplifies the artist's philosophy.
