SiteLogic - Online Marketing Consultants Day 4, VAD Ecommerce, LIlle France: The trade shows in France have a slightly different approach. Around noon, one can hear the popping of corks, as hundreds of bottles of champagne are being opened. Each booth offers champagne and hors d'overs to attendees. The booth staff sits down and enjoys a pleasant lunch while attendees drift around between lunch and the occasional glass of champagne.

SiteLogic - Online Marketing Consultants Day 3, VAD Ecommerce, Lille France: Early breakfast and then off to the Salon VAD eCommerce expo. VAD is an acronym for distance selling in French. My session on Social Media Marketing wasn’t until the afternoon, but they kept us busy hustling from one meeting to another. Lunch was sponsored by La Post, and was another very formal affair. At this point, I can no longer eat any more foie gras.
