Skerries We walked from Skerries Mills to Milverton last week and were allowed temporary access past the gatelodge to the farm buildings, gardens and fields over to St Mobhi's Holy Well. Few have visited since the last walk, a year ago. Nature is taking it back and walkers saw a hawk and an otter among the wildlife there . . .

Skerries Crystal clear and still this Sunday morning, tide high to where heaps of seaweed foam and sizzle and rooks peck. We walked, six legs, four paws and me to where the Mill Creek spills its baby eels onto the strand, then packed away wet dog and sat with coffee, papers and a bun outside of Olive Café, Strand Street. Back along North Strand in time to see Atlanta II depart to fish, all chug and diesel plumes. Nice day

Skerries Ah! Friday . . .
