Please extend the service offering beyond the US; the busines case is solid and can be easily extended, bar country legal restrictions, to most modern countries. Including African countries, South Africa in particular, where there is a country wide drive to increase the savings rate of the populace and use discretionary cash as opposed to debt to finance lifestyle related expenditure..

Thami, thanks for reaching out. We get this a lot from customers abroad, and are flattered. Following our successful launch in Australia, we have been contacted by several groups regarding SmartyPig International. We are looking to announce the next country early next year with hopefully an additional three by the end of 2010 and then extend from there into 2011 and 2012. That said, hearing from interested customers always helps us to make our most informed decisions.

What a great letter! I've felt the same way. Interest rates will go up and down, but the best part of what you guys do is having those goals that are a joy to reach for & to reach and decide what else to save for. Keep up the good work!
