Cathleen Rowse Hi from New Zealand x x

Marc I hope you guys don't mind an old fart like me becoming a member of your group. If any of you are struggling with your growth and studies, please send me a message or become my friend and let's have a dialogue. I am praying for SUA's growth as a great institution of change for the sake of the happiness of people of t...he world everywhere. I was so encouraged by reading the SUA Donors newsletter to see the stories of our dear students who we are counting on as leaders of our society at this crucial juncture in history. And to think they sent this poor old man that simply because he donated $25 a few years ago.

Arielle Hi, I sent in my application and received an email back from the admissions office saying I was missing "Essay 2"...What is that? I looked back at my application form and I uploaded two essays responding to two of the different prompts provided...So I am unsure as to what "Essay 2" is. Can you clarify for me?

Soka University’s annual International Festival is held on the first Saturday of May, celebrating the anniversary of SUA’s dedication on May 3, 2001. The Festival, which is part of Orange County’s Imagination Celebration (www.sparkoc.com) features international food, dance, music, street painting, art exhibitions, ce...ramic sales and demonstrations, games, inflatable rides and about 150 non-profit and business exhibitors.
Attendees are encouraged to wear international attire and to celebrate their own heritages. Admission is free to encourage family participation. Parking on campus is $10.
Over 10,000 people attended the International Festival in 2009. They enjoyed watching over 700 volunteer musicians and dancers from many cultural traditions performing continuously on three stages from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. All performers receive a festival t-shirt as a thank you. Almost all SUA students on campus participate in some way in this festival as volunteers, performers, or as student club exhibitors. See www.soka.edu/festival for more information.
