Tokyo D So what is happening with the mythical WoW headsets? Aren't we close to pre-order time eh eh?

Hi im bac, i figured out why my MKII crackle. but idont know why still.
I am using the X-FI PCI sound card. but when i put the setting to microphone ti crackles and when i take it to Line-In its clear as day time. but in Line-IN i cant talk with the mic.

Matt Mueller Hello X-Fi community! I have the X-Fi Elite Pro, and after upgrading to Windows 7 64, I have all kinds of distortion. I'm using the current drivers from Creative date Jun 09, but am curious if there will be new driver coming out soon to address those system with more than 4gigs of RAM? I remember when I upgraded to Vis...ta 64 it took a while but the drivers finally came out and all was gravy. Looks like the same scenario now, but I'm just trying to figure out how long I should expect the new working drivers to take. Right now for sound I'm having to use a bluetooth headset. Not ideal. Thanks for any feedback. I understand the fundamental sound changes in the new OS has provided problems, but they are for the best. Good luck with the drivers, and thanks for any feedback again!

Mike hellomy MKII are starting to crackle.... and there a little overa month old.. im using the X-FI sound blaster PCI Soundcard. i updated there drivers for the sound card and it still crakcles. any help please!

Bill Jadlos I apologize for what might seem a simplistic question, but, I have downloaded music, eight cds worth. I can burn the music from seven of the cds with Windows Media Player. The eighth will neither burn or play on Media Player - the error message indicates that for some reason the Player cannot determine how long each ...cut on the cd is. The timing does not show on Media Player and the cuts will not play. Believe it or not, I just discovered that I have Creative Media Source 3.30.35 installed on my computer. I finally have the tracks from the cd transferred to Creative Media Player and each track will play. Hovever, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to burn those tracks onto a cd. When I look at the "Help" the entry indicates that I shold have a "burn" button but I don't see it. Am I trying to do something that can't be done? What am I missing? Thanks.
