Andrés Hey guys, I've been using an X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion Series for some time, and just recently, I started hearing this annoying static noise. It disappears when I disconnect the front panel (The noise is there even if nothing's connected to it), but then I lose the inputs, so I don't wanna keep it like that (what...'s the point of having the Champion series without the front panel, anyway? :D)... So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Windows 7, by the way. I used to have this problem with XP too until I changed to 7, but now it's back.

Also, I'd like to know if this card is compatible with the THX TruStudio PC technology or if this just comes with certain cards since what I read about it seems pretty awesome. :D

Jason Turner Hi guys, Looking at getting the sound blaster x-fi titanium and would like to know whether it will take an optical input from my PS3 (dolby and dts) and output to my surround speakers.

Hey Jason, if the optical output is stereo, then yes it will work with your X-Fi Titanium. If it's using Dolby or DTS, it cannot since it doesn't do input decoding, only outputs (encoding).
