The Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2009 will be officially staged on June 28, 2009 in its inaugural year. The marathon is the 9th edition in Standard Chartered Marathon series globally.

I took part in this run too. It was a great experience as this is my first ever Half Marathon Run;)
I feel great and took part the next half marathon, Adidas KOTR 2009 in Shah Alam. Unfortunately, 1 month before the run, I was knock down by a car which lost control all of sudden while I am jogging. When I woke up from t......he knock, my left running shoe was under the car and my knee and elbow were bleeding. As a result, I rested for almost 3 weeks with all the medicine and bandage :(
I try to regain my fitness in the final week but it not a smooth it is as I hurt my abdomen and left ankle from that knock. But yet, I'm glad to cross the finishing line in that run. Still struggle to regain my best form but I'm feeling better as I found myself a new running style and pace. Not the best but I'm glad that I'm still able to join the running events;)Read More
