Debbie M. Goff Medical Fund/Goff Triplets A friend took these and shared one of them but I wanted to share all of them and to continue all of you to pray for Debbie -- she's back at Barnes and having some heart issues.

Unfortunately, Debbie's return home has been delayed as she has returned to Barnes Hospital for additional tests/evaluations. Hopefully, she will get to come home sometime in November. In the meantime, Ken has had back surgery...

Plans are being made for childcare and care for Debbie because she may be coming home in a week or so. She has had a good couple days of PT. She is still on the feeding tube but has been eating a little food as well...

Debbie M. Goff Medical Fund/Goff Triplets Good news -- Debbie has returned to the St. John's rehab facility and didn't lose much ground after being readmitted to the hospital for several days. Debbie's mom reports that Debbie's kidnies are functioning at 25% (yea!) and she is taking dialysis on an as-needed basis. Babies are doing well and are getting to see Mom more frequently.

Debbie went to Barnes last Friday with a blood infection. They believed based on her history that her dialysis catheter may have been the source of such infection. The removal of this source would require surgery that St Johns was not capable of so back to Barnes she went which was hard on her...

As you may know, Debbie had moved into St. John's Rehab facility, which is closer to her home and an easierdrive for the family. However, on Friday Debbie moved from St. John Rehab back to Barnes...

Debbie M. Goff Medical Fund/Goff Triplets Today, Sept. 16, is Debbie's birthday! Her first request to her mom was for chocolate cake, but she changed her mind to cheescake. What great signs of improvement and spunk!

Debbie is struggling with the pain in her legs and feet and was not able to do the walking part of her PT yesterday. However, she did do 20 min on the bike pedals and OT worked her pretty hard by making her stand with minimal assistance a few times...

Debbie M. Goff Medical Fund/Goff Triplets Debbie is making some great progress! She has therapy daily and is taking steps with a walker. Her feeding and suction tubes have been removed and she is eating small amounts of food. Her kidneys may be showing some signs of some function. A move to a rehab facility is on the horizon! Debbie gets to see the babies 2-4 times a week (yea!) and give bottles.

Debbie had a rough start to the weekend Thursday-Sunday. However on Sunday, she started talking in full sentences!!! Praise God! AND she also passed her swallow test this morning, which means hopefully she can start to drink water and eat again...

AWESOME UPDATE FROM KAREN: "Talked to Kenny tonight and Debbie had a good day. They took Molly down to see her and Debbie got to feed her. So it seemed to be a better quality time and bonding for both and not as hectic as having three down there...

Debbie M. Goff Medical Fund/Goff Triplets Debbie had a good week. The dialysis, other procedures and physical therapy make her tired, but she is working hard and fighting! At her therapy session on Friday afternoon, she was able to lift/push herself out of her wheel chair while holding on to parallel bars. She was able to stand for one minute, five times. She ...will work up to 10 times and may even be able to take a few steps in a week or so!
