Um i can say whatever i wanna say because my husband is over there fighting right now so i can say that i know of so many people who are not stepping up to the plate...i am very thankful for your fiancee but not many people would do that......that is all i am saying..i am proud army wive and will be that way til the day i die...

There's ALOT of brave men and women stepping up to the plate. My husband(who is getting deployed in Feb), had just turned 40 years old when he signed on the dotted line our son also joined. These men and women who join know what they are getting into and know there is a huge risk; it's to bad people can't just pat them on the back, ask them and/or their families if there's anything they need and be thankful because of their sacrafices we have the freedoms we do. After all freedom isn't FREE!

The same soliders are getting deployed over and over again; this is a senseless tragedy that could have been avoided. Instead of allowing this solider to leave the counseling center he should have been made to stay there and cool off. Soldiers need the proper counseling and support in order to get through the things they see and hear.....deployment after deployment and sweeping it under the carpet isn't the way to deal with it. That's just my opinion, right, wrong or indifferent.

That's the govt sweepin more issues under the rug!

good move on the stopping stoploss. im glad to see that they have finally taken a step in the right direction, although it has come too late for a lot of soliders and their families. but at least now we are on the right track.
