A true child prodigy at age eight, he was being booked to play as a soloist in front of some of the world’s grea...test orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Russian National Orchestra. When he turned thirteen, he was signed to one of the most famous and prestigious classical music labels in the world as a solo artist. Continuing a long and strange trip since their humble beginnings, Dark Star Orchestra’s determined commitment to 'raising the Dead' has drawn nationwide attention. Using entire set lists from the Grateful Dead's decades of touring as a launching pad, Dark Star Orchestra recreates performances of thes...e historic shows song for song. While faithful improvisation is pinnacle, precision is of equal importance with DSO, which adapts phrasing, vocal arrangements, and arranges specific musical equipment for the various eras of Dead music. At the end of each performance, the band announces the date and venue where the original show just covered took place.

Gaelic Storm performs signature Irish-inspired folk/pop tunes and has conquered the Twin Cities with sold-out shows over the past two years. The band channels the rowdy communal feel of an Irish pub sing-along with original songs while masterfully matching the mischievo...us tongue-in-cheek humor of classic Celtic lyrics. Though their music is rooted in traditional Irish melodies and instrumentation, Gaelic Storm has successfully incorporated the energy and groove of world rhythms along with modern musical influences.
