Summer College for High School Students at The University of Mississippi
The Summer College Reunion has been set for October 17, 2009, to coincide with the University’s Fall Visit Day. What do we do at the reunion? Don’t worry; there are no SCHS Recreation or Exploring Sessions to attend! Instead, we focus on the four F’s: Food, Fellowship, Fun, and FOOTBALL!!!
Fall Visit Day and the S...CHS Reunion are the same day as the Ole Miss Rebels’ game against the UAB (University of Alabama-Birmingham) Blazers. We will have our own Grove tents set up in front of the Yerby Center (the building you checked in at on your first day), with lots of free food.
We have a supply of football tickets for those interested in going to the game (those that aren’t can network in the Grove or hover around the food). The tickets are free,but you need to return Alumni Information Form I mailed you to secure your tickets.
Start times for the events on October 17th are as follows: check-in for Fall Visit Day begins at 9 AM (you must pre-register online); SCHS Reunion begins at 10:30 AM; UM vs. UAB football game begins at 1 PM.

Oxford, Miss. –– Shadrack “Shad” Tucker, a former student in the UM Summer College for High School Students was named the University of Mississippi’s 25th Rhodes Scholar last fall and is the first to receive both the prestigious Rhodes and Truman scholarships.
