Since then, the paper has evolved and changed through various name changes and mergers to become what it is today.

            1891 and ran until 1895 when it was bought out? It was then named the Eastern Utah Advocate, which ran until July 2, 1915 when it merged with
            The Carbon County News to become The News-Advocate.
            The newspaper didn't become the Sun Advocate until 1932.
