Lindsay It is such a breath of fresh air to see a trainer who utilizes positive reinforcement training techniques. A+ to Animal Planet for booting that awful "In the Dog House" Cesar Milan wannabe and giving Zak the spot. Thank you, for doing the dog training profession a world of good and not promoting dominance theory or pla...ying off learned helplessness as "training."
Crystal Doll I just rescued a one year old heeler mix. She dosnt have any training at all. She cant even sit. She is eager to please but is very submissive and dosnt seem to know how to play nor is she interested in any of the toys that I have bought her. She likes to follow me around the house already and loves running circles in ...the yard with me. What should I teach her first to help us get started bonding? Walk? Sit? Stay? Come? I'm not sure where to start.
