Symantec So I learned today that during the past 12 months there have been approximately 40 trillion spam messages --- yes, trillion! It got me wondering...what kind of good could be done if each of those messages was a dollar instead of a spam email. For one, you could pay off the U.S. National debt 3 1/2 times over! Any other ideas?

Symantec How are we doing? A new Webtrends study was just released talking about how brands are interacting on Twitter & Facebook. More than half of Twitter users and a 1/3 of Facebook users had successful interactions with brands via social media http://bit.ly/24hpMy

So...How are we doing? And more importantly, what suggestions do you have for improvement?

Source: bit.ly
Young people are challenging brands to get the balance of advertising on social networks right, with the majority of young people welcome the presence of brands on social networking sites, over half say they will stop using a network if it becomes too commercialised.

Symantec Today we issued a new report that talks about the tremendous growth in the rogue security software market http://bit.ly/2p2DDu. There have been approximately 43 million attempts to get people to download fake protection in a year's time.

I've had several family members report seeing these pop-ups. Have you seen or do you know people who've seen these fake security alerts pop up on legitimate websites?
