- TMDP is a Canadian electronic music duo consisting of Jeffrey Addison and Gavin Rough. Their music is a fusion of House music, Nu-Disco, R & B, and Electro House. Rated number 13 in NOW (Canadian magazine) 2009 Music Forecast, TMDP’s 2009 debut effort has been described as a “pristine debut that’s as catchy as it is well crafted.”
TMDP is a part of Toronto’s burgeoning electronic music scene and have played with the likes of such international artists as Modeselektor, Crystal Castles, Dragonette, Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, A-Trak, and Shout out out out out.
TMDP’s particular brand of electronic music is recreated live using synthesizers and laptops.
TMDP is not an acronym or an initialism and has no political associations. "Tim-Dipp" is an often used pronunciation.
The band is currently working on their second album, due out summer 2010.
