Ask any real estate agent and they will tell you they have seen their share of trashed out foreclosure properties.  Here’s a sample video of one in the Agritopia subdivision. Yes, it is illegal to wreck a home, but that doesn’t stop a lot of people from doing it.On Monday, I saw a new (for m...

I commented on the other post with the photos. I still think the neigbor did to restore a view of the sunset that he missed once that homeowner moved in and planted the tree.

Calgary? Home of the 88 Winter Olympics? Chinooks? The Indians? I thought their home was along the Columbia River and that would not be the place your picture of water skiing is from at this time of year.

I’m a big fan of statistics and charts. 20+ years in the semiconductor manufacturing industry will do that to a guy. Heck, I even took a second semester of statistics in college as an elective, because I liked it.That doesn’t stop me though from just “getting a feeling” about something.  Ove...

Normally I wouldn’t expect a pizza joint to make me sit back and say, “Hmmmm, this is a great idea to connect with customers and improve business.” It is, after all, just a pizza joint, albeit one with a damn good pizza. But the other day I received a thank you card. A hand-written thank you card ...

My wife is a big believer in that old fashioned idea of a hand written note and it works very well for her. There's a lesson in that for all of us online junkies clicking away. But I've noticed that my penmanship is so bad, I can't even read it anymore ;)

My penmanship has deteriorated tremendously in the last 10 years. I believe that is due to always using the computer instead of handwriting. I feel that I'm having to "think" while I write and it has become hesitant. LOL! The FIRST big change that I noticed in my penmanship wasn't because of computers though. It was because of college note taking -- writing fast, shorthand notes in class, etc. When I was in high school, my handwriting was really nice. Just been downhill since.

"How much do real estate agents make?" Great question! The self promotion many agents use saying, "Multimillion Dollar Producer" might lead you to believe they are getting rich, but $1 million in production is only about $30,000 in commissions to the agent BEFORE expenses and after expenses it could be half that, $15,000.
